What are you willing to change?

SMALL STEPS #3: EASY SWAPS

What are some products or habits that you are willing to swap for more sustainable ones?

Here’s a linked list of ideas for things you can swap.

As you shop, think about the lifespan of that item. Once you are finished with it, how long will it remain intact on the planet? Let me tell you from my many beach clean-ups- plastic toothbrushes and flossers, plastic water bottles, plastic straws, chip bags, balloons and plastic laundry soap bottles last forever (well, a few hundred years). In the meantime, they break down into microplastics. You will be amazed at how many biodegradable options there are for all these items. Why not switch to more sustainable options before all that plastic goes to waste?

I don’t recommend any pods because of the controversy regarding the casing being made from petroleum-based plastic. I do love laundry sheets though!
