About Me
WHO IS HABIT & HABITAT?
Hello & Bonjour!
My name is Julie. I am a mom, a friend, a long-time vegetarian, a francophile, a yogi, an event planner, an aerialist, a former roller disco queen, a plant lover, and someone who has a deep reverence for the planet. I have unconsciously and then, more consciously, been a guardian of the Earth for a long time. Being a steward of Mother Earth is not something I do, it’s who I am. Treading lightly and in step with the planet is deeply rooted in my soul and I am constantly learning more about ways to help the planet and find solutions to lessen the burden that I place on her. I could talk about sustainability for hours and have come to realize that people I meet want to do better for the planet but don’t know where or how to start. I have finally decided to share what I know and what I learn with those who are curious.
I dedicate this blog to my two beautiful daughters who now will be burdened with the environmental mess that has been created. I vow to do everything in my power to help this planet be returned to her natural beauty. I know I cannot do it alone, but with our small, daily choices and the ripple effect we can create by demanding accountability and action from those capable of making significant shifts, we can restore balance to our environment.
I humbly offer my ideas and passion for nurturing this beautiful planet. It's not about achieving perfection, but rather fostering a community dedicated to living with the intention of creating a healthy, interconnected, and flourishing world for future generations.
